The EDS-2008-EL series is an 8 port entry-level unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch with up to 8x 10/100/1000BaseTX RJ45 ports, single 12V/24V/48V DC power input and an optional extended operating temperature range -40°C to +75°C). The compact IP40-rated metal chassis and low-cost design is ideal for applications that need simple industrial Ethernet connectivity. for increased reliability, the EDS-2008-EL series has passed a 100% burn-in test to ensure it will function continually after deployment. The EDS-2008-EL also has Broadcast Storm Protection (BSP) and Quality of Service (QoS) functionality and the -SC and -ST model variants offer a single SC or ST type fibre port for integration into multi-mode fibre networks.
