The EHL173 from DFI is part of DFI's Elkhart Lake series of motherboards offering exceptional edge computing solutions powered by the Intel Atom x6000 series of processors. The EHL 173 has been designed to enhance device management and boasts a significant increase in computational and graphical performance over the previous generation. Such a performance boost is significant for display and medical monitor applications. 

Key features include two DDR4 SO-DIMM memory slots supporting up to 32GB, triple independent displays via DP++, HDMI and eDP/LVDS and comprehensive expansion options with M.2 B Key, M.2 E Key, and PCIe x4. For I/O connectivity the motherboard has 2x 2.5GbE, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1, 6x COM ports, and up to 4 xUSB 2.0. With a 15-year CPU lifecycle support until Q1 2036 (based on Intel IOTG roadmap), the EHL173 ensures long-term reliability for industrial and IoT applications.
