The EKI-1361 wireless serial device server brings RS-232/422/485 to wireless LAN. Allowing almost any device with a serial port to share a wireless LAN. The EKI-1361 provides a quick, simple and cost-effective way to bring remote management and data accessibility to thousands of devices that connect otherwise connect to a network. By using the EKI-1361 your serial device will be compatible with most common operating systems without the need to rewrite special drivers. Furthermore, the serial devices can communicate peer to peer eliminating the need for host PCs and software programming. 

The EKI -1361 allows commands to be issued from either the wireless side or, the serial side using bilateral data transmission making the EKI-1361 suitable to remote monitoring environments such as security systems, factory automation, SCADA, transportation and more.
