The Advantech EKI-2525S is a rugged unmanaged Ethernet switch designed for industrial networking where long-distance, fiber-optic connectivity is essential. Equipped with four 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports and one 100FX single-mode SC port, the switch supports transmission distances up to 30 km, making it ideal for wide-area industrial networks and remote site connections.
This model is engineered for demanding environments with an IP30-rated metal enclosure, compact form factor, and flexible mounting options for DIN-rail and wall installation. Its redundant 12–48 VDC power inputs with reverse polarity and overload protection ensure reliable operation and safeguard against power-related disruptions.
The EKI-2525S also incorporates broadcast storm protection, flow control, and auto MDI/MDI-X crossover, simplifying installation and improving network stability. With its extended fiber reach, it is particularly suited for industries such as oil and gas, utilities, and transportation, where secure, interference-free communication is required across large facilities.
Tested for reliability with an MTBF of over 380,000 hours, the EKI-2525S is backed by Advantech’s industrial-grade design philosophy. It meets CE, FCC, and UL standards, including Class I, Division 2 certification for hazardous locations.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
