The EKI-2541SI is an industrial grade media converter designed to convert an copper TX Ethernet network to a Single Mode SC type fibre optic network.

The advantage to fibre optics is wider bandwidth, added EMI immunity, and extended distance transmission. Therefore the EKI-2541SI is an ideal solution for “fibre-to-the-building” applications in central offices and remote sites.

The EKI-2541SI supports MDI/MDIX auto detection, meaning you no longer have to use crossover wires. Furthermore, the EKI-2541SI can operate in a wide -40°C to +75°C environment and can accept an extended 12V to 48V DC input. In addition, the EKI-2541SI is designed with 3,000V DC surge (EFT) protection against over-voltage, meaning the device is ideal for the harsh industrial environment.

RMA

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).

When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.

Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
