The EKI-2706G-2FPI is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch engineered for rugged industrial use, combining copper and fibre interfaces with robust PoE support. It features four 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports, each providing IEEE 802.3at/af PoE+ with up to 30 W output, plus two SFP (mini-GBIC) slots for fibre uplinks. This blend of copper and fibre makes it ideal for extending network coverage over long distances while powering edge devices directly.
A maximum PoE budget of 120 W ensures dependable support for multiple powered devices, including IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP systems. With redundant 12–48 VDC power inputs and relay alarm output, the switch enhances system reliability by enabling continuous operation even during power supply failure.
The compact DIN-rail mountable IP30 metal enclosure is built to endure vibration, shock, and extreme conditions, operating within −40 to 75 °C. Status LEDs for power, alarm, and port activity simplify diagnostics, while protection against overload and reverse polarity ensures safe and stable deployment.
Switching capacity reaches 12 Gbps with an 8.9 Mpps forwarding rate, supporting efficient traffic handling in industrial automation and surveillance networks. Compliance with key standards including EN 50121-4 for railway trackside and NEMA TS-2 for traffic control confirms suitability for mission-critical systems.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
