The EKI-9510E-2GP Ethernet switch is designed for networking solutions for rolling stock and wayside rail applications. The EKI-9510E-2GP provides M12 connectors for Ethernet, console, relay and power-input connections to ensure secure connectivity therefore guaranteeing reliable operation in environments where vibration and shock are likely. The EKI-9510E-2GP is an unmanaged switch providing 8x 10/100 M12 D-coded PoE ports and 2x Gigabit M12 X-coded Ethernet ports with bypass function to enhance network reliability. Furthermore, the EKI-9510E-2GP utilises Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to offer up to 120W total power budget for connecting PD devices. It also features a slim design which can be easily deployed in crowded rail carriage and cabinet environments. Our customer was looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability, and reduce operation costs and overheads for their manufacturing facility.
