The GENE-EHL5 is a 3.5" subcompact board designed for next-generation edge applications in the 5G era. Powered by Intel Atom x6000E Series, Pentium, and Celeron N and J series processors (formerly Elkhart Lake), it delivers an increase of up to 40% performance compared to previous-generation platforms.
The GENE-EHL5 features a revolutionary design, including four M.2 expansion slots, doubling the capacity of its predecessors. One of the M.2 slots supports a 5G network module, while a nano-SIM slot ensures seamless 5G connectivity, meeting the growing demand for high-speed data transfer.
Optimised for performance and scalability, the GENE-EHL5 supports DDR4 SO-DIMM memory up to 32GB, providing flexibility over onboard memory configurations. Its dual Intel i210 GbE Ethernet controllers ensure reliable and robust industrial LAN connectivity, making it ideal for outdoor edge computing environments. With its enhanced connectivity options and powerful processing capabilities, the GENE-EHL5 is the perfect solution for 5G-connected, performance-driven edge applications.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Spurious error messages, especially those from rolling-stock subsystems, can be difficult and time consuming to diagnose.
