The ICF-1170I series of industrial CAN-to-fibre converters are used to convert CAN signals from copper to optical fibre. The converters come with 2kV optical isolation for the CANbus system and dual power inputs with alarm contact relay to ensure that your CANbus system will remain online. Fibre Test Mode can be used to test the fibre cable between two ICF-1170I units, and provides a simple way to determine if the fibre cable is transmitting data correctly. When in Fibre Test Mode, the fibre transceiver (TX) will continuously send out a data signal and the “Fibre TX” LED will light up. On the other side of the connection, when the ICF-1170I fibre transceiver (RX) receives the data signal form the TX side, the “Fibre RX” LED will light up. RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
