The Axiomtek IPC962-525 is a powerful 2-slot industrial system designed for demanding factory automation, machine vision and industrial edge computing applications. Supporting 9th and 8th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 or Celeron processors up to 65W, it delivers high performance for real-time data processing, motion control and inspection tasks.
Robust yet compact, the IPC962-525 uses an aluminium extrusion and heavy-duty steel chassis and operates from -10 °C to +60 °C with 24 VDC input. Integrated over-voltage, over-current and reverse protection help ensure reliable operation in harsh industrial environments. Front-access I/O simplifies installation in control cabinets and equipment racks, reducing service time and downtime.
For connectivity and integration, the system offers dual Gigabit Ethernet, flexible serial communications via RS-232/422/485, multiple USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as VGA and HDMI ports for dual independent displays – ideal for operator panels, SCADA workstations, and machine status dashboards. TPM 2.0 and Intel AMT 12 (Q370) add enhanced security and remote manageability for distributed industrial PC fleets.
Two swappable 2.5" drive bays support SSD or HDD storage, with the Q370 version adding RAID 0/1 and an M.2 Key M slot for high-speed NVMe SSDs – perfect for high-throughput image capture, logging and database workloads. A full-size PCI Express Mini Card slot and SIM slot allow easy integration of Wi-Fi or 4G/5G connectivity for industrial IoT applications.
With its choice of PCIe and PCI expansion riser cards, the IPC962-525 can host dedicated motion cards, fieldbus interfaces or an Nvidia GPU up to 125 W, making it a flexible platform for machine vision, AI inference, test and measurement and other compute-intensive industrial applications.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Rolling-stock data logger for Siemens Rail
Spurious error messages, especially those from rolling-stock subsystems, can be difficult and time consuming to diagnose. Siemens Rail, in Manchester, wished to install a data logging system onto their rolling stock to transmit data in real-time back to their depot for efficient data analysis by their team.
