The IPC964A-Q-E1F5 is the orderable IPC964A industrial system listed in the datasheet, supplied with the Intel Q670E platform, four PCIe slots and a blank extension system I/O cover. It is designed for industrial applications that need strong processing flexibility, accessible front I/O and expansion capacity in a compact heavy-duty chassis. The system supports 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Intel Core processors in an LGA1700 socket, with CPU support up to 65W depending on the selected processor and thermal configuration.

This model supports DDR5 4800 non-ECC SO-DIMM memory up to 96GB, although the datasheet notes that 14th Gen Intel Core processors support a maximum single SO-DIMM capacity of 48GB. Storage options include two front-accessible 2.5 inch HDD or SSD bays supporting 7 mm, 9.5 mm and 15 mm drive heights, plus one M.2 Key M 2280 socket using PCIe x4 Gen4. Intel RAID support is also listed, making the system suitable for applications that require more resilient local storage.

The IPC964A-Q-E1F5 provides a useful set of front-access interfaces for industrial integration. These include one 2.5GbE LAN port using Intel I226-V, one GbE LAN port with Intel AMT support using Intel I219-LM, six USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 serial port, DisplayPort++, HDMI, DVI-D and a combined mic-in and line-out audio jack. It also includes a power switch with LED, HDD or SSD access LED, three user LEDs, DC input terminal block, and a terminal block for ignition control, remote power and remote LED.

Expansion is handled through four PCIe slots, with one PCIe x16 Gen4, one PCIe x8 slot with x4 signal at Gen3, and two PCIe x4 Gen4 slots. A full-size mini PCIe slot with SIM support is also available. Optional modules can add further serial, isolated DIO, CAN, LAN, USB or 5G-ready M.2 expansion depending on project needs.

The system uses aluminium extrusion and heavy-duty cold-rolled steel construction, with dimensions of 205 x 192 x 260 mm and a net weight of 5.6 kg. It supports 18V to 36V DC input, over-voltage, over-current and reverse protection, TPM 2.0, Windows, Windows IoT and Linux operating systems, and -20°C to 60°C operation with suitable SSD and airflow. This makes the IPC964A-Q-E1F5 a strong choice for industrial machine builders, automation integrators and edge computing systems that need front-access I/O and flexible PCIe expansion.
