The M2AI-2242-520 from Aaeon features the energy-efficient Kneron KL520 Neural Processor Unit (NPU) in a M.2 2242 form factor that’s equally cost-efficient. The KL520 provides efficient AI computing performance of 0.56 TOPS per watt, perfect for remote, mobile, and unmanned applications. The KL520 is made up with dual ARM Cortex M4 processors which can serve as a co-processor in any system with an M.2 2242 slot. It's low power design and easy integration makes it well-suited for applications including smart locks, security cameras, drones, smart home appliances and robotics. Impulse also offers a wide range of compact embedded boards and PC's which the M2AI-2242-520 can easily be added to in our UK engineering facility with your choice of processor, memory, storage, peripheral cards and operating system.
