The MAX-Q670A is a Micro-ATX industrial motherboard designed for embedded systems, industrial PCs, automation platforms, machine vision, control systems and edge computing applications that need strong performance in a more compact form factor than a full ATX board. Built around the Intel Q670 Express chipset, it supports 12th, 13th and 14th Generation Intel Core processors, as well as Series 2 LGA1700 socket processors, with support for CPUs up to 125W TDP.
The board provides four DDR5 4000MHz U-DIMM slots with dual-channel, non-ECC unbuffered memory support. The specification table lists support for up to 192GB memory, giving system builders capacity for demanding industrial software, data processing, multi-application workloads and visual computing tasks. Storage support is extensive, with eight SATA III ports supporting RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10, alongside two M.2 2242/2280 M-Key sockets using PCIe Gen 4 lanes and supporting RAID 0, 1 and 5.
Expansion options include two PCIe x16 slots, two PCIe x4 slots, one M.2 B-Key socket with Micro SIM support and one M.2 E-Key socket. This makes the MAX-Q670A suitable for systems requiring graphics, frame grabbers, industrial communication cards, wireless modules, cellular connectivity or storage expansion. Display support includes HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, VGA and LVDS/eDP, allowing up to four independent displays depending on configuration.
The MAX-Q670A also includes dual GbE LAN as standard, with a four-LAN version available, plus USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, serial ports, 8-bit DIO, audio, hardware monitoring, watchdog timer support, smart fan control and onboard TPM 2.0. With ATX power input, Windows 10 and Windows 11 support, CE and FCC Class A certification, and operation from 0°C to 60°C, it is a flexible industrial motherboard for compact but expandable embedded systems.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
