The MDS-G4028-L3-4XGS-T is the wide-temperature version of the 28-port Layer 3 modular switch, operating from -40 to 75°C. With 24x Gigabit ports and 4x 10G SFP+ uplinks, it delivers high-density connectivity and advanced routing in rugged environments.
Layer 3 capabilities include static and dynamic routing, inter-VLAN routing, and multicast routing, enabling efficient segmentation and backbone operation. Expansion slots support LM-7000H modules for copper, fibre, or PoE+. Dual hot-swappable LV or HV power modules ensure redundant supply resilience.
IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 certification ensure reliability in harsh substation and industrial conditions. PRP/HSR redundancy, Turbo Ring/Chain, RSTP, and MSTP provide a resilient design. IEEE 1588 PTP, combined with IEC 61850-9-3 and IEEE C37.238 profiles, ensures precise timing, while MMS/IEC 61850-90-4 and HTML5 management facilitate SCADA integration.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
