The MDS-G4028-T is the wide-temperature variant of the modular 28-port series, engineered for reliable operation in harsh climates from -40 to 75°C. It provides up to 28 Gigabit ports through embedded ports and LM-7000H expansion slots for copper, fibre, or PoE+ modules.
With IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 certification, it withstands EMI, surges, and vibration. Dual LV or HV hot-swappable power modules provide redundant supply flexibility.
PRP/HSR redundancy, Turbo Ring/Chain, and RSTP/MSTP deliver resilient networking. IEEE 1588 PTP, combined with IEC 61850-9-3 and IEEE C37.238, supports precise timing. MMS/IEC 61850-90-4 and HTML5 web management enable SCADA integration.
With rugged mechanics, an extended operating range, and high port density, the MDS-G4028-T is ideal for substations and industrial automation applications that require scalable, fault-tolerant Ethernet.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
