The Advantech MIC-741-AT7A1 is a high-performance industrial AI inference system based on the NVIDIA Jetson T5000 platform. Designed for advanced edge AI and generative AI workloads, it combines a powerful Arm-based processor, NVIDIA Blackwell GPU architecture, 128GB of LPDDR5X memory and extensive high-speed networking in a rugged industrial enclosure.
The Jetson T5000 incorporates a 14-core Arm Neoverse V3AE 64-bit SMP CPU architecture alongside a 2560-core NVIDIA Blackwell GPU with 96 fifth-generation Tensor Cores. The platform forms the highest-performance configuration within the MIC-741-AT range and contributes to series-level AI performance of up to 2070 TFLOPS at FP4.
The MIC-741-AT7A1 includes 128GB of LPDDR5X memory and is supplied with a pre-installed 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD. NVIDIA JetPack 7.1 is also installed, providing a software environment for developing and deploying accelerated AI applications.
Network connectivity comprises two 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, two additional RJ45 ports supporting speeds from 10 Mbps through to 10GbE, and one SFP28 interface for 25GbE connectivity. This range of interfaces provides substantial bandwidth for applications transferring high volumes of sensor, image or inference data.
Six USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A interfaces provide high-speed peripheral connectivity. Additional interfaces include USB Type-C OTG and a dedicated USB Type-C console connection for debugging. Four isolated CAN FD channels support industrial communications at up to 8 Mbps.
The system also provides an M.2 2230 E-Key interface supporting PCIe x1 and USB 2.0, plus an M.2 3052/3042 B-Key interface supporting USB connectivity for applications such as LTE or 5G. Optional GMSL expansion can support up to eight GMSL2 camera channels using mini FAKRA connectors, making the platform particularly relevant to multi-camera vision applications.
The MIC-741-AT7A1 uses a fan kit and measures 311 x 161 x 95 mm, with a stated weight of 4.42 kg. It accepts 19 to 36 VDC input and operates from -10 to 60°C with 0.7 m/s airflow. This combination makes it suitable for compute-intensive edge AI, machine vision and large-model inference applications requiring substantial GPU and memory resources.
