The MIO-5272 3.5" board from Advantech is centred on the new Intel 6th Gen. Core-U/Celeron 'Skylake' processors that support Intel “Speed Shift” technology. It is ideal for embedded computing and provides an optimised onboard integrated graphics solution. “Speed Shift” technology intelligently hands back control of the CPU frequency to the processor reducing the time taken to switch between idle/low power mode and maximum performance to just 1ms. The MIO-5272 design is based on the small 3.5" form factor and provides support for two Mini PCI-Express modules. This form factor also provides a convenient connector layout for easy assembly, more efficient cable connections, and better overall embedded system integration. This compact platform (only 5.7" x 4.0") offers all the functions of a single board industrial computer but still fits in the space of a 3.5" hard drive. The MIO-5272 SBC also supports Advantech's SUSIAccess remote device monitoring reducing maintenance and deployment costs of your end devices. Impulse can supply the MIO-5272 fully populated and tested in our UK engineering facility with your choice of memory, storage and embedded software options.
