The MIX-H810WV1 is a Mini-ITX industrial motherboard designed for compact embedded systems that require modern processing performance, flexible display support and strong onboard connectivity. Based on the Intel H810 chipset and supporting Intel Core Ultra 200S Series processors in an LGA1851 socket, the board provides a compact platform for industrial PCs, digital signage, machine control, edge systems, kiosks, automation equipment and space-constrained embedded applications.
Despite its small 170mm x 170mm Mini-ITX form factor, the MIX-H810WV1 offers a strong set of features for industrial system builders. It supports dual-channel DDR5 memory up to 6400MHz, with two SODIMM or CSODIMM slots and a maximum capacity of 96GB. This gives the board enough memory headroom for modern operating systems, embedded applications, monitoring software and multitasking workloads. Storage is supported through two SATA 6Gb/s ports with SATA power connectors, plus one M.2 2280 M-Key socket for PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage.
Display flexibility is another key advantage of the MIX-H810WV1. The board supports triple independent display output using two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.2 port, while an internal 40-pin LVDS/eDP connector provides panel integration for embedded displays. This makes it suitable for operator interfaces, industrial HMIs, display terminals and compact systems where internal panel support is required.
For connectivity, the board includes dual Intel I226-V 2.5GbE as standard, with an optional Intel I210-AT 1GbE LAN depending on BOM configuration. It also provides USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, RS-232/422/485, RS-232, 8-bit programmable DIO, audio, M.2 B-Key expansion with SIM socket, PCIe Gen5 x4 expansion and watchdog support. With 19V to 24V DC input, TPM options, Windows and Ubuntu support, and 0°C to 60°C operation, the MIX-H810WV1 is a capable Mini-ITX platform for compact industrial computing.

Rolling-stock data logger for Siemens Rail
Spurious error messages, especially those from rolling-stock subsystems, can be difficult and time consuming to diagnose. Siemens Rail, in Manchester, wished to install a data logging system onto their rolling stock to transmit data in real-time back to their depot for efficient data analysis by their team.
