The NA861 network appliance is built around high-performance Intel Xeon scalable processors with up to 384GB of DDR4 R-DIMM system memory, 1x mSATA and 2x 2.5" HDD. This high amount of computing power is perfect for various networking applications including Software Defined Networking, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Prevention Systems and Unified Threat Management.

For greater flexibility and easy maintenance, the NA861 can be fitted with up to 4x LAN modules, allowing the user to specify a combination of interfaces. Each of these modules can contain 8x GbE, 4x 10GbE, 2x 25GbE, 2x 40GbE or other combinations including LAN bypass and PoE.

Impulse can provide the NA861 Network appliance platform fully configured with your choice of expansion modules, processor, memory, storage and Linux based operating system.
