The Moxa NAT-108-T is the wide-temperature version of the NAT-108 industrial Network Address Translation device, designed for factory automation and industrial networking applications exposed to more demanding environmental conditions. It provides eight 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports together with NAT, routing, firewall and network access control functionality in a compact DIN-rail-mountable metal enclosure.
Its principal NAT capabilities include 1-to-1 NAT, N-to-1 NAT, port forwarding, NAT loopback and IP Twins Mapping. Moxa's IP Twins Mapping feature is intended to simplify the integration of machines that share identical internal IP configurations. Duplicate LAN addresses can be remapped to unique addresses, helping avoid communication conflicts when multiple machines or production systems are connected to the same factory network.
The NAT-108-T supports NAT, firewall and routing throughput of up to 15,000 packets per second at a maximum Ethernet speed of 100 Mbps. Up to 300 static routing rules can be configured, while the device supports as many as 30,000 concurrent connections and 4,500 new connections per second.
Device Lockdown provides network access control by automatically learning, or allowing users to manually define, the IP and MAC addresses of locally connected devices. These details can then be bound to the access list. Firewall rules can filter traffic according to IP address, MAC address and port. Secure Boot is also supported to help verify the integrity of the system during start-up.
Management features include HTTP and HTTPS web access, SSH, Telnet, TFTP, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, LLDP and DHCP Server/Client functionality. NTP and SNTP are supported for time management, while policy enforcement events can be logged to local storage or sent to a Syslog server.
The NAT-108-T accepts 12/24/48 VDC nominal input and operates from 9.6 to 60 VDC, with reverse polarity protection. Its compact metal housing measures 36 x 90 x 73 mm and weighs 330 g. DIN-rail mounting is standard, while an optional kit enables wall mounting.
The distinguishing feature of the NAT-108-T is its extended -40°C to +75°C operating temperature range, compared with -10 to 60°C for the standard NAT-108. This makes it the better choice for installations subject to significant temperature variation or harsher industrial environments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
