The NPort 5600 is a 19" rackmount serial ethernet device server with 8 serial RS-232 RJ45 ports. It allows you to centralise the management of multiple serial devices over a network. Easy to and effective way to connect upto 8 Serial devices to your existing ethernet network. The serial Tx/Rx LED's and ethernet LED's on the front make it easy for engineers to monitor the status of attached devices. The RJ45 ports on the back of the 19" server make installation into existing rackmounts systems simple and easy to maintain. Real COM/TTY drivers make the serial ports on the NPort 5600 recognisable as Real COM ports by Windows, or Real TTY ports by Linux. In addition to supporting basic data transmission and reception, the NPort drivers also support the RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, and DCD control signals. Dip switches on the bottom panel allows engineers to set the termination resistors to prevent serial signal reflection to high or low depending the requirements. termination and pull high/low resistor values. In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
