The POC-500 series is a step up in performance for ultra-compact embedded PCs. It features the AMD Ryzen V1000 4 core 8 thread embedded processor offering up to 3x the performance over previous POC models. The POC-500 series is available in two CPU variants, the V1807B (45W) variant is for high computing power demand and the V1605B (15W) variant is designed for rugged fanless operation. Additionally, the POC-500 supports an embedded Vega GPU which delivers up to 3.6 TFLOPS in FP16 which is unique for an embedded PC platform. The combination of CPU and GPU makes the POC-500 an excellent choice as an embedded controller for demanding Edge computing applications. The POC-500 continues using it's DIN-rail mounting mechanical design with front-accessible I/O all in an ultra-compact enclosure. It has rich I/O including Gigabit PoE+, USB3.0 ports, COM ports and super-fast NVMe M.2 storage offering 2.5x faster speeds than conventional SSD's all packed up in a footprint measuring just 82mm x 118mm x 176mm. The POC-500 also features Neousys' MezIO interface for easy expansion via the range of versatile MezIO modules. Essential to any industrial-grade embedded computer is its power input reliability. The POC-500 comes with a wide 8V to 35V DC power input range, making it ideal for applications powered by generators, solar panels and other non-standard power sources. As with all our embedded computing range, Impulse can fully configure the POC-500 to your exact requirements in our UK engineering facility including your choice of memory, storage and Microsoft Windows Embedded operating system. Furthermore, Impulse also offers a wide range of Power-over-Ethernet switches and PoE enabled cameras. For more information about the POC-500 embedded computer and our experience in the machine vision industry please contact our technical sales team on +44 (0)1782 337 800 or alternatively submit an enquiry.
