The RGS-9805GC Series is a rugged high-performance computing server platform designed for physical AI, autonomous vehicle development, robotics, in-vehicle data capture and harsh-environment edge computing. Built around AMD EPYC 9005 Turin series processor support, the system can be configured with up to 160 cores and 320 threads, providing the CPU performance required for demanding workloads such as sensor fusion, HD mapping, simulation, perception, robotics control and real-time data processing.
A key strength of the RGS-9805GC Series is its ability to support dual high-power GPU acceleration in a rugged 3U chassis. The system provides two PCIe Gen5 x16 slots for full-height, full-length dual-slot GPU cards, with support for up to 400W GPUs. This makes the platform suitable for workloads that need a balance of CPU throughput and GPU acceleration, including real-time AI inference, multi-camera processing, 3D perception and autonomous system development. GPU cards and final processor configuration should be selected according to the application’s performance, thermal and power requirements.
Expansion capability is extensive for a compact 19 inch 3U system with only 388 mm depth. In addition to the two GPU slots, the RGS-9805GC Series provides five further PCIe Gen5 slots for high-bandwidth add-on cards such as CoaXPress, GMSL2, 10GbE, USB3 frame grabbers and other specialist interfaces. Two full-size mini PCIe sockets add further flexibility for mobile connectivity, CAN or COM expansion.
The platform supports up to 384GB ECC DDR5 6000 RDIMM memory, two M.2 NVMe SSDs, one front-accessible U.2 NVMe tray and one internal SlimSAS port. I/O includes dual 10GBASE-T, one GbE, USB 3.2 Gen1, HDMI, serial connectivity, ignition control and system monitoring via an onboard automotive MCU. With 9V to 32V DC input, wall or rack mounting, standard damping brackets, MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration compliance, and -25°C to 60°C operation subject to CPU and GPU loading, the RGS-9805GC Series is designed for rugged field deployment where conventional servers are unsuitable.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
