The ROCK-301 is a rugged fanless embedded box PC designed for mission-critical applications that require reliable operation in harsh outdoor, transport, industrial and edge computing environments. Built with a sealed IP65-rated enclosure, the system is designed to resist dust and water ingress when used with protected mating interfaces, making it suitable for vehicle, roadside, automation, inspection, robotics, monitoring and outdoor-adjacent deployments.
Powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core platform, the ROCK-301 supports high-performance embedded computing in a compact, cable-secure system. The platform is available with Intel Core i7 processing, DDR5 memory, onboard NVMe storage and further expansion options for storage, AI acceleration and wireless connectivity. Its fanless thermal design supports operation from -40°C to 71°C with suitable extended temperature peripherals, helping maintain reliability in demanding installations where airflow, maintenance access or environmental control may be limited.
The system provides a strong external I/O set through rugged M-series connectors. Connectivity includes dual HDMI display output, one 2.5GbE M12 X-coded LAN port, four M12 X-coded PoE ports with up to 60W total PoE output, RS-232/422/485 serial, USB 3.0, USB4 Type-C, remote control, DIO and CANbus interfaces. The page 3 mechanical layout shows the sealed front-facing connector arrangement, supporting cable-secure installation in mobile and industrial environments.
Internal expansion includes a full-size mPCIe or mSATA slot, M.2 B-Key 3042/3052, M.2 M-Key 2280 and optional SATA support for a 2.5 inch SSD or HDD. With 9V to 36V DC input, vehicle ignition support, E-Mark compliance, MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration testing, salt fog testing, CE/FCC Class A, Windows and Ubuntu support, 3-year warranty and 10-year longevity, the ROCK-301 is a robust embedded computing platform for harsh-environment edge applications.
