The SOM304SX-VI is a flexible system-on-module board powered by energy efficient DM&P Vortex86SX system-on-chip with Lithium Battery Backup. Its energy efficient and fanless design ensures the board only needs 4W of power and can run off a single 5V DC feed.

As standard, the SOM304SX-VI is ISA bus compliant and can support up to four USB2.0 ports, five RS-232 ports, two 16-bit GPIO ports, an IDE port, and a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port. The board manufacturer, Icop, owns the designs of both the SoM and processor, meaning an extended lifetime availability and strict revision control is supported.
