The TN-4516A-12PoE-4GPoE-WV-T is an EN 50155-compliant managed switch providing ruggedised Ethernet connectivity for railway applications. It features 12x Fast Ethernet M12 PoE ports and 4x Gigabit PoE uplinks, making it suitable for powering multiple IP devices while providing high-capacity backbone communication.
Each PoE port supplies up to 30 W under IEEE 802.3af/at, with a total budget of 120 W. This allows direct powering of IP cameras, wireless access points, and phones. Dual isolated 24–110 VDC inputs increase power reliability and support redundant feed deployment across different rolling stock power systems.
The switch is certified to EN 50155 mandatory test items, covering surge, vibration, ESD, power insulation, and wide temperature performance. With an operating range of -40 to 75°C, it is built for demanding onboard conditions.
Resilient networking is achieved through Turbo Ring/Chain with <20 ms recovery, plus RSTP/MSTP. Enhanced management and security functions include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, IEEE 802.1X, SSH, HTTPS, and SNMPv1/v2c/v3.
With robust M12 connectors, broad power support, and PoE capability, the TN-4516A-12PoE-4GPoE-WV-T is a reliable solution for powering and connecting multiple IP devices on trains and rail infrastructure.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
