The TN-4524A-16PoE-WV-T is an EN 50155-compliant managed switch designed for use in rolling stock and railway communication systems. With 24 Fast Ethernet M12 ports (16 PoE) and 4 Gigabit uplinks, it provides both device connectivity and high-bandwidth backbone communication.
Each PoE port delivers up to 30 W under IEEE 802.3af/at standards, with a total power budget of 120 W, supporting a wide range of onboard powered devices. Dual isolated 24–110 VDC inputs ensure redundant supply resilience and allow flexible integration across railway power systems.
The switch is certified to EN 50155, covering mandatory items such as vibration, surge, insulation, ESD, and temperature, ensuring reliability under railway operating conditions. Operating from -40 to 75°C, the TN-4524A-16PoE-WV-T maintains consistent performance even in extreme climates.
Resilient networking is supported through Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery) as well as RSTP/MSTP. Advanced Layer 2 features include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus TCP. Management is provided via web, CLI, Telnet, and SNMPv1/v2c/v3. Security capabilities such as IEEE 802.1X, SSH, HTTPS, and TACACS+ safeguard critical onboard networks.
The TN-4524A-16PoE-WV-T combines high-density PoE support with rugged EN 50155 certification, making it a reliable solution for powering and managing Ethernet-based devices in modern trainborne and railway applications.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
