The TN-4524A-16PoE-WV-CT-T is a conformal-coated, EN 50155-compliant M12 managed switch designed for harsh rolling stock environments. With 24x Fast Ethernet M12 ports (16x PoE) and 4x Gigabit uplinks, it provides a flexible and reliable backbone for onboard communications.
PoE ports support IEEE 802.3af/at standards, delivering up to 30 W per port and a total of 120 W, allowing direct powering of IP cameras, wireless access points, and telephony equipment. Conformal coating protects against humidity, dust, and corrosive gases, thereby extending service life in harsh environments.
Certified to EN 50155 mandatory test requirements for surge, ESD, vibration, insulation, and temperature, the TN-4524A-16PoE-WV-CT-T is designed for long-term service in railway systems. Dual isolated 24–110 VDC inputs provide redundant power supply resilience, while the -40 to 75°C rating ensures stable operation under extreme climatic conditions.
Fast recovery is provided by Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms) along with RSTP/MSTP support. Security features include IEEE 802.1X, SSH, TACACS+, HTTPS, and ACLs, while management tools cover SNMPv1/v2c/v3, web, CLI, and Telnet. Layer 2 features such as VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus TCP support advanced traffic control.
The TN-4524A-16PoE-WV-CT-T combines high PoE density, conformal protection, and EN 50155 compliance, making it an ideal solution for powering and managing railway onboard networks in challenging conditions.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
