The TN-5305A-WV-T is a member of the ToughNet TN-5300A family, delivering reliable unmanaged Ethernet connectivity in a compact 5-port design. Featuring five M12 D-coded 10/100BaseT(X) ports, this switch ensures secure and vibration-resistant cabling in demanding environments such as rolling stock and heavy industrial machinery.
The unit supports auto-negotiation, full/half-duplex, and MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing, providing simple integration with existing Ethernet systems. With a 768 kbit packet buffer and 2K MAC address table, it offers stable packet forwarding for control, monitoring, and communication systems.
Power is delivered through a single 24–110 VDC input with wide tolerance (16.8–137.5 VDC operating), and features inrush current, overload, and reverse polarity protection. This makes it highly reliable for mobile and railway applications where input voltage conditions can fluctuate.
Housed in a rugged metal enclosure with IP54 protection, the TN-5305A-WV-T withstands shock, vibration, and wide temperature extremes from -40 to 70 °C. Certified to EN 50155 and EN 50121-4, it meets stringent railway requirements, including EMC and environmental performance.
Compact and lightweight at only 315 g, the switch is easy to mount using wall or optional DIN-rail kits. With an MTBF over 6.6 million hours and a 5-year warranty, it ensures dependable long-term service for critical rail and industrial networks.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
