The TN-5308A Series is a family of unmanaged Fast Ethernet switches built for harsh industrial and railway environments. With eight 10/100BaseT(X) M12 D-coded ports, these models ensure vibration-resistant, secure connections for rolling stock and industrial applications. The M12 connectors guarantee robust performance against shock and environmental disturbances, making them ideal for mobile and outdoor systems.
Compliant with the EN 50155 standard, the TN-5308A Series meets railway-grade requirements for EMC, vibration, surge protection, and power stability. Designed for extreme conditions, they operate in temperatures from -40 to 70 °C and withstand humidity, dust, and other environmental stresses.
The switches support IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3x, full/half-duplex modes, auto-negotiation, and MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing, ensuring simple plug-and-play integration. With a packet buffer of 768 kbits and 2K MAC address table, they provide reliable packet forwarding for industrial communications and monitoring systems.
Power is supplied via a single isolated 24–110 VDC input (16.8–137.5 VDC operating), with reverse polarity, overload, and inrush current protection to ensure reliable operation. Compact dimensions (62.4 x 190.4 x 37.5 mm) and flexible mounting options (DIN-rail or wall-mount) simplify installation in constrained spaces.
Certified to EN 50155, EN 50121-4, and NEMA TS-2, these switches meet rigorous requirements for railway and traffic control systems. With a 5-year warranty and MTBF exceeding 5.2 million hours, the TN-5308A non-PoE models deliver long-term reliability and cost-effective performance for industrial Ethernet applications.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
