The TN-5508A-WV-CT-T is the conformal-coated version of the base TN-5508A, designed for challenging railway conditions where humidity and corrosion are a risk. It provides 8x Fast Ethernet M12 ports in a rugged IP54 housing.
With dual isolated 24–110 VDC power inputs, the switch ensures redundancy and uninterrupted operation. It supports wide temperature operation from -40 to 75°C and complies with EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2 safety standards.
The switch integrates Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy (<20 ms recovery), RSTP/MSTP, and industrial protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP). Security features include IEEE 802.1X, SNMPv3, SSH, HTTPS, TACACS+, and RADIUS.
With PCB conformal coating, resilient design, and advanced redundancy, the TN-5508A-WV-CT-T provides long-term secure connectivity for rolling stock and wayside railway networks operating in harsh climates.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
