The TN-G6512-8GPoE-WV-T is a wide-temperature EN 50155-compliant Gigabit M12 managed switch designed for railway onboard and wayside networks. It features 12 Gigabit ports with M12 connectors, including 8 PoE ports (up to 30 W per port, totalling 240 W) and four copper ports.
The unit supports dual isolated 24–110 VDC power inputs and operates within a temperature range of -40 to 70°C. Its IP67 housing, M12 connectors, and compliance with EN 50155/EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373 shock/vibration, and EN 45545-2 fire safety ensure durability in harsh railway conditions.
Turbo Ring/Chain provides network resiliency with <50 ms recovery and RSTP/STP. Cybersecurity features include IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, HTTPS, SSH, and SNMPv3. Advanced Layer 2 functions include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP.
With its rugged design, PoE capability, and wide operating temperature range, the TN-G6512-8GPoE-WV-T is ideal for powering cameras, access points, and controllers in rolling stock and other transportation networks.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
