The TRC-2190 series provides 18 slots for media converter modules from the CSM-400 series of Ethernet-to-fibre management modules. It also supports SNMP/web console for remote management and monitoring. A TRC-2190 chassis comes with one AC or DC power input with an optional redundant power expansion module available for greater reliability. The TRC-2190 power input module supports a fanless chassis design as well as a -20°C to 55°C operating temperature range. Impulse can build the rack media system to your exact specification of modules direct in our UK based engineering facility. Our customer was looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability, and reduce operation costs and overheads for their manufacturing facility. The initial step in this transformation was to add additional monitoring and measurements to several areas of their facility to allow the collection of usage data from older machinery for analysis. The machinery to be analysed would be located in many areas of the complex, with some sitting in concrete outbuildings far from the source of the main network.
