The UC-3420A-T-LTE is a compact LTE-ready gateway built for reliable field data acquisition and uplink. Powered by a quad-core Cortex-A53 1.4 GHz CPU with 4 GB DDR4 and 16 GB eMMC, it handles protocol conversion, filtering, and local analytics at the edge. Connectivity includes two auto-sensing Gigabit Ethernet ports and two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 ports for rapid integration with PLCs, sensors, and meters.
An integrated LTE Cat 4 modem with dual SIM provides carrier resilience; GPS assists location-based use cases. Security features include TPM 2.0, secure boot, disk encryption, intrusion detection, and compliance with IEC 62443-4-2 SL2. The device runs Moxa Industrial Linux (MIL3) with long-term updates to 2031, plus one-step secure recovery and dual-system failback to reduce maintenance risk.
Designed for harsh sites, UC-3420A-T-LTE operates from -40 to 70°C, uses a metal IP30 enclosure, mounts on DIN-rail, and draws low power from 9–48 VDC. Certified for CE/FCC/UL, Class I Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2, it suits oil and gas, utilities, and transportation where safety and uptime are paramount. With dependable cellular, robust I/O, and hardened security, this model is an ideal RTU, smart gateway, or programmable router for modern OT networks.
