The V3400 Series delivers railway-grade performance in a compact, fanless platform built around 11th Gen Intel Core i7/i3 processors. With up to 64 GB DDR4 memory, M.2 NVMe storage (128 GB pre-installed), and two front-accessible, hot-swappable 2.5" drive bays with keyed locks, the series combines compute power with secure, serviceable storage for onboard and wayside systems.

Connectivity is extensive: models offer 4 or 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports (including one 2.5 GbE), with V3408 variants adding a LAN bypass pair to maintain data flow during link failures. Two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports, 2 x DI and 2 x DO, dual USB 3.0, plus HDMI and VGA provide versatile I/O for TCMS, CCTV, and secure gateway applications.

The platform supports multiple wireless configurations to suit demanding vehicular deployments—up to two 5G modules (M.2), one LTE or Wi-Fi 5 (mPCIe), and one Wi-Fi 6 (M.2), with six SIM slots for resilient cellular connectivity. Built-in TPM 2.0 safeguards platform integrity and helps protect against tampering.

Designed for rail, V3400 meets EN 50155 mandatory test items, EN 50121-4, and IEC 61373 for shock and vibration. An optimised thermal design sustains -40 to 70°C operation (EN 50155 OT4) even with two 5G and one Wi-Fi 6 module installed. Power input is isolated 24–110 VDC via M12, and the aluminium IP30 chassis supports wall mounting.

Available with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, Windows 10 IoT LTSC, or Moxa Industrial Linux (Debian-based) with long-term support to 2031, the V3400 Series is a robust, scalable choice for modern rail networks.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).

When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.

Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
