The Moxa EDS-2008-EL Series provides simple, cost-effective unmanaged Ethernet switching for industrial environments. Designed for entry-level networking, these compact switches deliver up to eight 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 copper ports, with fibre-ready models available for greater flexibility. Options include multi-mode SC and ST fibre ports for extended distances up to 2 km, ensuring versatile connectivity for diverse applications.
Housed in a rugged IP40-rated metal enclosure, the EDS-2008-EL Series is built to withstand challenging conditions. Installation is easy with DIN-rail or optional wall-mounting kits. DIP switches allow users to enable Quality of Service (QoS) and Broadcast Storm Protection (BSP), ensuring stable traffic flow and dependable network performance.
The series supports a wide 12/24/48 VDC power input and provides protection features including overload current and reverse polarity safeguards. High EMI/EMC immunity further enhances resilience in industrial environments. Standard models operate from -10°C to +60°C, while -T wide-temperature versions extend the range to -40°C to +75°C for deployment in extreme conditions.
With a compact footprint, low power consumption, and MTBF of over 3.4 million hours, the EDS-2008-EL Series ensures long-term, stable operation. It is well-suited for factory automation, energy systems, transportation, and other industrial networks requiring straightforward, unmanaged connectivity.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
