The
eBOX671A, a new fanless
embedded system from
Axiomtek is powered by high-performance Intel Xeon, 10th Generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3 or Celeron processors and features the latest Intel W480E chipset and high-speed DDR4 memory. The rugged IP40-rated chassis is designed for harsh environments and is made from a combination of extruded aluminium and steel, with an extended operating temperature of -40°C to +70°C and a wide 9V to 48V DC power input.
Supporting up to 10-core and 20-thread processors, the eBOX617A offers high performance for a wide range of applications in the AIoT field such as Edge computing, machine vision, deep learning, and robotic control.
The
eBOX671A supports up to 64GB of DDR4 2933MHz memory via dual 260-pin SO-DIMM slots. For enhanced data integrity there is the option of using ECC (Error Correction Code) memory when used in conjunction with an Intel Xeon processor. For storage, there are two 2.5” SATA HDD drive bays with Intel RAID 0&1. Two full-size MiniPCI Express slots and two easy-access SIM slots allow for versatile expansion and cellular communications. For security purposes, the
eBOX671A supports TPM2.0 with its respective security features.
With Edge applications in mind,
Axiomtek has equipped the
eBOX671A with a rich complement of high-speed I/O including four Gigabit LAN with optional PoE (Power Over Ethernet) for supporting IP cameras, five 10Gbps USB3.2 Gen 2 ports, one 5Gbps USB3.2 Gen 1 port, two RS-232/422/485 DB9 and two RS-232 DB9 serial ports. It also supports triple independent displays via interfaces for two HDMI1.4b and one DisplayPort1.2++.
Additionally, the
eBOX671A features a flexible I/O window that can be retrofitted with
Axiomtek’s MiniPCI Express modules for extra I/O including CANbus and additional LAN ports.
