ADAM-4520 is a rugged and industrial grade RS-232 to RS-422/485 serial converter. It’s simple and easy to configure form factor enables you to mount the ADAM-4520 on a standard DIN-rail, or piggy-backed off another ADAM modules. Part of the Advantech ADAM range, the ADAM-4520 comes with a standard two year warranty and is backed by a worldwide support network. The ADAM-4520 features a 3,000V DC isolation barrier to protect your communication line from power surges and other many other industrial threats. Surge protection is also featured on the RS-485 line. For easy integration the ADAM-4520 supports a wide +10V to +30V DC power input range and has reserved spaces for termination resistors.
