The Advantech ADAM-6315 is an industrial IoT Ethernet I O RTD module designed to bring accurate, reliable temperature monitoring into modern control and SCADA architectures. Built for distributed measurement points and retrofit projects, it connects directly to your network and supports OPC UA and Modbus, making it easy to integrate RTD temperature signals into PLC, HMI, and supervisory systems without complex gateway hardware.
At the heart of the ADAM-6315 are 8 differential analogue input channels dedicated to RTD measurement, with support for 2 wire and 3 wire connections. It handles a wide selection of sensor types commonly used in industrial environments, including Pt100 and Pt1000, plus Balco 500 and Ni 508 / Ni 518. This flexibility is ideal for plants that have mixed sensor standards across legacy equipment and new installations, and it helps standardise temperature monitoring across multiple areas of a site. The module supports multiple Pt100 temperature ranges and supports both IEC 60751 ITS90 and JIS C 1604 standards, giving engineers confidence in compatibility during upgrades and maintenance.
The ADAM-6315 is designed for real world reliability. It includes wire burnout detection to flag sensor faults early, robust 2,500 VDC isolation to protect systems from electrical noise, and watchdog support for system and communication resilience. Networking is simplified with dual 10/100Base-T(X) ports for daisy chain wiring, reducing installation effort in control panels and remote cabinets.
Alongside temperature inputs, the unit also provides 6 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, supporting practical control and alarm use cases such as status monitoring, interlocks, and simple actuator switching. The digital channels support counter, frequency, and pulse output functions up to 3 kHz on specified channels, which can be useful for broader machine monitoring in compact installations. With a wide 10 to 30 VDC power input and an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 C, the ADAM-6315 is well suited to industrial automation, energy, building systems, and remote monitoring applications where dependable temperature data is critical.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
