Advantech's AMAX-5580 is an expandable control industrial PC featuring Intel 6th Gen. Core i7/i5/Celeron processors. Designed for automation control, this open control platform is expandable with a range of AMAX-5000 EtherCAT Slice IO modules for real-time I/O control. The AMAX-5580 is also usable as a standalone terminal as well as in connection with the flexible options in the AMAX-5400 expansion module range. Supporting downstream communication protocols including Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, the AMAX-5580 can integrate into a variety of existing networks seamlessly. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and MiniPCIe expansions for Wifi/3G/LTE options make the AMAX-5580 a great Edge data control server or data gateway concentrator. Seamless integration with I/O can save costs and fulfil a diverse range of automation projects. The AMAX-5580 control PC offers 4GB or 8GB DDR4 memory variations depending on your choice of processor along with four USB3.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 DB9 ports and HDMI/VGA display outputs.
