The AWK-4262A Series is a rugged outdoor industrial Wi-Fi 6 wireless AP, bridge and client range designed for reliable wireless communication in harsh environments. Built for demanding applications such as mining, oil and gas, transport, industrial automation, ports, outdoor infrastructure and remote sites, the series combines high-speed dual-band wireless performance with a robust IP68-rated metal enclosure for outdoor deployment.
Supporting IEEE 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, the AWK-4262A Series provides concurrent dual-band operation across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with aggregated data rates up to 1.775 Gbps. Wi-Fi 6 technologies including OFDMA and Spatial Reuse help improve multi-client communication in high-density wireless environments, making the series suitable for installations where many wireless devices may be operating in the same area. The platform also supports 1024-QAM, WMM quality of service and transmission rates up to 573.5 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1,201 Mbps on 5 GHz.
AeroMesh technology is a key benefit of the AWK-4262A Series, enabling adaptive self-forming and self-healing mesh networking without requiring a dedicated controller. This helps simplify wireless deployment where cabling is difficult, expensive or impractical. Auto Channel Selection, DFS channel support, Turbo Roaming in client mode, 802.11k/v/r fast roaming and AP-based client disconnection help support more stable and efficient wireless operation.
For outdoor reliability, the AWK-4262A Series includes built-in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band-pass filters, power and antenna port isolation, enhanced ESD and surge protection, redundant dual power inputs, 48 VDC PoE support and -40°C to 75°C operation. Security and management features include WPA/WPA2/WPA3, RADIUS, HTTPS/SSL, SSH, SNMP, VLAN, NAT, firewall filtering, Wi-Fi ACL, client isolation, MXview Wireless support and EN 18031-1 cybersecurity compliance. With wall mounting as standard and optional DIN-rail or pole mounting, the AWK-4262A Series is a strong outdoor wireless platform for industrial networks that require performance, resilience and secure connectivity.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
