The AWK-4262A-US-T is the US-region model in the AWK-4262A Series, designed for rugged outdoor industrial wireless networks using US wireless band requirements. It supports Wi-Fi 6 through 802.11ax, while also supporting 802.11a/b/g/n/ac for compatibility with existing wireless devices. It can be configured for multiple operating modes, including access point, client, client-router, master, slave, sniffer and mesh operation.
This model provides concurrent dual-band wireless operation across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with aggregated data rates up to 1.775 Gbps. The datasheet lists transmission rates up to 573.5 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 1,201 Mbps on 5 GHz. For US models, the 2.4 GHz band covers 2.412 to 2.462 GHz, with supported 5 GHz ranges including 5.180 to 5.240 GHz, 5.260 to 5.320 GHz, 5.500 to 5.700 GHz and 5.745 to 5.825 GHz. DFS channel support helps the device use a wider range of 5 GHz channels while avoiding interference where required.
The AWK-4262A-US-T is designed to maintain stable wireless performance in crowded and interference-prone environments. Wi-Fi 6 OFDMA and Spatial Reuse improve multi-client efficiency, while built-in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band-pass filters help reduce out-of-band interference. AeroMesh technology enables self-forming and self-healing wireless mesh paths, helping simplify installation where cables are difficult to run. Turbo Roaming and 802.11k/v/r fast roaming features further support mobile or dynamic industrial applications, depending on operating mode.
For outdoor installation, the AWK-4262A-US-T uses an IP68-rated metal enclosure and supports wall mounting as standard, with DIN-rail and pole mounting available through optional kits. It has two N-type female antenna connectors, includes 2.4/5 GHz antennas in the package, and supports a wide range of optional antennas, cables, surge arrestors and mounting accessories. Power options include 12V to 48V DC redundant dual inputs and 48 VDC PoE, with a maximum consumption of 24W.
The model also includes two Ethernet ports, two digital inputs, one relay alarm output, RS-232 console, USB Type-A for ABC-02 use and LED indicators for power, LAN and wireless status. With WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security, RADIUS, HTTPS/SSL, SSH, SNMPv3, VLAN, NAT, firewall filtering, Wi-Fi ACL, client isolation, MXview Wireless support, EN 18031-1 cybersecurity compliance and -40°C to 75°C operation, the AWK-4262A-US-T is a robust wireless solution for US outdoor industrial networks.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
