The EDS-305-S-SC offers long-distance connectivity with four RJ45 copper ports and one SC single-mode fibre port supporting runs up to 40 km. It is an unmanaged, plug-and-play solution for industrial networks that require both local copper devices and extended fibre backbones.
The switch integrates a relay output to warn of power or port-break failures, improving network visibility. Broadcast storm protection can be enabled via DIP switch to maintain reliable traffic flow.
Built in an IP30-rated metal housing, the EDS-305-S-SC supports DIN-rail mounting for quick deployment. Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, overload, and reverse polarity protection deliver power resilience in critical environments.
Certified for hazardous areas, maritime, and EMC/safety standards, and subjected to 100% burn-in testing, the switch provides proven dependability in harsh industrial conditions.
Operating in the Standard 0°C to +60°C range, it is well-suited for factory automation, utilities, and inter-building links requiring cost-effective, unmanaged long-distance fibre integration.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
