The EDS-305-S-SC-80 provides extended single-mode fibre reach up to 80 km, combining four RJ45 copper ports with one SC fibre port. It is designed for wide-area and inter-site networks requiring long-haul unmanaged fibre connectivity.
A relay output provides alarms for power or port-break failures, enhancing visibility and resilience in industrial deployments. Broadcast storm protection is DIP-switch configurable to reduce network instability during heavy loads.
The switch is housed in a robust IP30-rated metal enclosure and supports DIN-rail installation. Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs with overload and reverse polarity protection ensure consistent service.
Certified for hazardous locations, maritime use, and EMC/safety compliance, the switch undergoes 100% burn-in testing for field reliability.
Operating in the Standard 0°C to +60°C range, the EDS-305-S-SC-80 is an ideal solution for utilities, energy grids, and inter-building networks requiring unmanaged fibre runs beyond the standard 40 km.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
