The EDS-309-3M-SC is a rugged unmanaged switch designed for mixed copper and fibre networks. It provides six 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports for local device fan-out and three 100BaseFX SC multi-mode interfaces to extend connectivity over typical multi-mode distances (up to around 4 km per run). This blend is ideal for compact cabinets that need multiple fibre spurs alongside copper edge devices without the overhead of management. Built for industrial reliability, the switch features an IP30 metal enclosure with DIN-rail or optional wall mounting. A built-in relay output signals power failure or port-break conditions so maintenance teams can react quickly to events. Broadcast storm protection is DIP-switch selectable to help stabilise traffic under heavy loads, and store-and-forward switching with auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X makes integration straightforward. Power resilience comes from redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs (9.6–60 VDC operating range) with overload and reverse polarity protection. The model is tested for shock, vibration and EMC immunity, and carries approvals for hazardous locations (ATEX, Class I Div. 2 For small backbone links, short fibre distribution, and cost-effective copper-to-fibre aggregation, the EDS-309-3M-SC delivers dependable, plug-and-play service with minimal maintenance. Wide -10°C to +60°C operation.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
