For ST multi-mode fibre networks in harsh environments, the EDS-309-3M-ST-T combines six 10/100 RJ45 copper ports with three 100BaseFX ST ports and a robust extended temperature design. Fibre links up to around 4 km per port give you flexible options for short-to-medium distance backbones or distributed panels. Operational resilience is built-in: a relay output announces power and port-break events, while DIP-switch broadcast storm protection helps preserve throughput during traffic spikes. Store-and-forward switching, auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X ensure plug-and-play deployment. Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs (9.6–60 VDC) with overload and reverse polarity protection strengthen power availability. The compact IP30 metal chassis installs easily on DIN-rail or with an optional wall-mount kit. The unit is qualified for hazardous locations (ATEX, Class I Div. 2) and validated for EMC, shock and vibration, supporting long-term service in transportation, utilities and outdoor automation. Choose the EDS-309-3M-ST-T when you need unmanaged copper aggregation with multiple ST multi-mode links that will keep running in temperature extremes. Extended wide -40°C to +75°C operation.
