The Moxa EDS-309 Series delivers rugged unmanaged Ethernet connectivity with a balanced mix of copper and fibre interfaces. Each switch is equipped with six 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports for local device fan-out and three 100BaseFX multi-mode fibre ports (SC or ST options) for backbone or inter-panel connections up to 4 km. This makes the series a practical choice for mixed industrial environments that need both copper and fibre without the complexity of managed devices.
Designed for critical reliability, the EDS-309 includes a relay output that signals power failure or port-break events, providing maintenance teams with valuable early-warning capability. Broadcast storm protection is selectable via DIP switch to help maintain network stability during periods of high traffic.
The switches feature redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs (9.6–60 VDC operating range) with overload and reverse polarity protection, ensuring continuous operation in demanding environments. Housed in a compact IP30-rated metal enclosure, they support DIN-rail or optional wall mounting, making them easy to integrate into control panels or distribution boxes.
The EDS-309 Series is certified for hazardous locations (ATEX, Class I Div. 2), transportation, and maritime use, and has been tested for shock, vibration, EMC, and burn-in reliability. Operating temperature options include Wide -10°C to +60°C and Extended wide -40°C to +75°C models, giving deployment flexibility in both indoor cabinets and exposed outdoor enclosures.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
