Designed for substations and control rooms with high-voltage feeds, the EDS-4014-4GS-2QGS-HV pairs four 1G SFP with two 2.5G SFP uplinks to increase backbone throughput. Eight 10/100 copper ports connect field I/O and serial servers. Turbo Ring/Chain provides < 20 ms recovery (< 50 ms at ≥ 1 Gbps), with RSTP/MSTP, MRP and LACP for standards-based resilience.
Security aligns with IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 (HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control, MAC protections). MXstudio Plus, with SNMP/LLDP/RMON/syslog/SPAN and fibre diagnostics, simplifies management. The switch recognises EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET devices, and features hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP for precise timing.
Platform resources: 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, 256 VLANs, IGMP snooping/querier. Power is single-input HV (operating 88–300 VDC / 85–264 VAC). The IP40 enclosure supports DIN-rail/wall mounting and runs -10 to 60°C. Suitable for EN 50121-4 and IEC 61850-3 / IEEE 1613 environments.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
