The EDS-4014-4GS-2QGS-HV-T combines high-voltage power with wide-temperature operation for extreme environments. Uplinks include four 1G SFP and two 2.5G SFP for higher camera density or aggregation bandwidth, plus eight 10/100 copper access ports. Availability is assured by Turbo Ring/Chain (< 20 ms; < 50 ms at ≥ 1 Gbps), RSTP/MSTP, MRP and LACP.
Security is IEC 62443-4-2 SL2, featuring HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC policies. MXstudio, SNMP, LLDP, RMON, syslog, SPAN/RSPAN and fibre check aid deployment and audits. OT stacks include EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET Device; IEEE 1588v2 PTP (hardware-based) supports deterministic time profiles.
Key resources: 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames, 4 QoS queues, 256 VLANs, IGMP snooping/querier. Power is single HV (operating 88–300 VDC / 85–264 VAC). Rugged IP40 build with DIN-rail/wall mounting and -40 to 75°C operation completes the spec. Suitable for EN 50121-4 and IEC 61850-3 / IEEE 1613 deployments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Our customer was looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability, and reduce operation costs and overheads for their manufacturing facility. The initial step in this transformation was to add additional monitoring and measurements to several areas of their facility to allow the collection of usage data from older machinery for analysis. The machinery to be analysed would be located in many areas of the complex, with some sitting in concrete outbuildings far from the source of the main network.
