EDS-405A-MM-SC equips three copper ports and two multi-mode 100Base-FX SC ports for cost-effective fibre backbones up to around 4 km. It delivers fast redundancy via Turbo Ring/Chain with < 20 ms recovery and supports RSTP/STP for standards-based loops. Layer-2 features—IGMP snooping/querier, VLANs, QoS, bandwidth control and port mirroring, keep traffic predictable and easier to diagnose. Configuration is flexible (web/CLI/Telnet/serial) and can be cloned with ABC-01. Remote management uses SNMPv1/v2c/v3, RMON and syslog; a DIP switch simplifies ring setup. The unit includes an IP30 metal case, DIN-rail mounting, dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs (9.6–60 VDC), protection features and an alarm relay. Operating temperature: -10 to 60°C.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

The machinery to be analysed would be located in many areas of the complex, with some sitting in concrete outbuildings far from the source of the main network.
